The Nuraghe ‘Loppelìe’: a Sardinian architectural element par excellence, nuraghi characterise the landscape of the entire island.

On the “Margine” plateau, about twenty kilometres from Baunei, are some of the most important nuragic monuments in the territory of Baunei.

The special feature of this nuraghe is undoubtedly the presence of the twelve ‘corbels’ that are still clearly discernible.

In the upland of Golgo, in Baunei, some original anthropomorphic paintings made in oxide and ochre on a rock wall have been discovered by Mr Nanni Mereu.
